The rear or village side of the house and garden offers a fantastic terrace to while away the hours with a lovely view across to the village and chateau and church, there is an in ground swimming pool alongside an outdoor kitchen BBQ with huge oak table and bar for all to enjoy. The rear terrace faces west and has plenty of sunshine throughout the day and enjoys amazing sunsets over the Chateau, you will find sunny sun loungers and plenty of seating in the shade of the Silk tree by the pool.
Le Palais is situated in the the centre of its own private 40 acres, accessed by an ancient oak tree lined drive, the grounds offer guests privacy, freedom to explore, peace and quiet while being a short walk through the gardens to the beautiful picturesque village of Verteuil-sur-Charente with its bars, restaurants and shops. Le Palais has large gardens that guests are welcome to explore, plenty of out of sight parking and the whole property is for the enjoyment of residents only unless prior arrangements have been made. The surrounding fields have Jasmine’s horses grazing along side the neighbouring farmers cows.
