Nanteuil-en-Vallee

Nanteuil is a little like stepping back in to the history book, streets of tiny houses 100s of years old set the way to cobbled paths and beautiful architecture. The Abbaye originating from 1050 has stood in various guises for almost 1000 years, the village is a magical mirage of the ages, it boasts a lovely village market on a Saturday and two restaurants both well worth the trip.

The Abbaye is open on various days throughout the summer months and also opens for summer events such as opera, jazz, poetry and dramatics, Jasmine and Will can provide the events list for your stay.

Auberge De L’Argentor

Taking its name from the history of the Abbaye and the river, this is one of Jasmine and Will’s diamond places to eat! Run by the loveliest couple who completely know their trade, they have all angles covered. Coffee on the terrace in the morning, drinks in the afternoon in the shade but the area that is near perfection is the food, if these guys haven’t got a Michelin star by the end of next year then the inspectors need a talking to. In our opinion it is a jewel of the area, and a must visit for any of our guests! Once again all reservations can be organised via Le Palais just let us know your plans.
